Reflection

Academic succes is definitely is one of our goal right now as a student, to become one of the best students here in campus. But we all know it is not the easiest goal to achieve. Paper works, activities and deadlines. The things that we need to encounter and overcome. But is it worth it? Yes. But we should also know that there is more things that is more important than being the best at school. There are things that we need to experience and learn that we can’t learn inside the school. Because the world doesn’t just revolve around it.

You don’t need to be the best, but you should feel best. The message of Jack Ma to his son in my own perception. Jack Ma is a successful entrepreneur from China. He own the most succesfull company in China, Alibaba. If I were in his son’s shoes of course, I will feel pressured. Being a son of a succesful bussinesman, a lot of people has high expectations from you. Like being smart, respectful and lots of positive attitudes that you should have. In short being good at everything. Since his parents can afford to pay tutors to teach him that. But after reading Jack Ma’s words for his son kind of uplift the pressure that I will feel. Because hearing your parent’s advice from you will make you feel atleast loose and comfortable. Because instead of pressuring words because they want their child to be the best, he gave him a simple but inspirational and motivational words. That will inspire me to do my best with every actions and decisions that I will make in life. So there I will be my own best in my life with the important people who loves and support me and accepts me for who I really am.

Life is not about your achievements and failures. But it is about the lessons that you learned after. The experiences that will make you though and stronger not just the paperworks that will make you smarter. Life is not about how smart you are it is about how willing you are to learn every single lessons in life while enjoying it with learnings. I learned that you should not only focus on what is others’ expectation from you, focus on what will make you feel happy and best. Accept yourself and make yourself grow, become better, not on just a single field but also on the field where you will grow and enjoy. You only live once, and I think all of us should live with that saying. Don’t just ignore things around you just because you were only focused on a single thing. And don’t worry too much about your future and enjoy your life in present with discipline and courtesy with people around you. So that you will not face the consiquenses in the future. Your report card does not define you and it will never predict your future. Because in the real world its you that will make you successful and contented with the achievements that you achieve. Grades matters because it is the product of your hardwork at school, but your performance and attitude in the real world matters more.

Pursue what you enjoy

Teachers. Sometimes I wonder why a lot of people choose that career consdering how stressfull it will be. As a student I witness my teachers struggle, like how can they make us quite?, How can they make us listen?, How can they make us learn? And I also witness my teacher burst out of anger. I guess it really is stressful.

By watching the video I answered my question. In the video he said that when someone asks him “Why teach?” Or “Why just teach?” He always answer them with a single sentence ” Because I love my contry.” And I think thay says it all. Teacher has the power to change someone or to make someone live better. Maybe that is why they are called second parents for a reason. So in that I learned and answer the question that I sometimes ask myself. Teachers did not just teach because they want to, they teach because of their love for their students. Because for them teaching is not just teaching, its their passion. And they know that they might make someone that can make our country change in a positive way.

” It’s not about where you go, its how you do wherever you go, wherever you go be good. ” ENJOY and LOVE what you are doing. I think that is the meaning of it. Because if you love what you are doing and determined about your goal you will ignore the hindrances and struggles and thus you will work harder and harder, still being able to excel and learn about your positive and negative experiences in your field and inspire because you only live once.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
